We are delighted to congratulate our space IoT partner Kinéis and their launcher Rocket Lab on the successful second launch of five new nanosatellites in a planned constellation of 25.
The second batch of five nanosatellites, carrying new generation IoT payloads, are now in orbit and by the end of the year will begin offering enhanced global connectivity integrated in our Vessel Monitoring System solutions.
Our scaled-up VMS transmitters have never been so adapted to your needs.
What these New Services Mean for Your NEMO:
- INCREASED CAPACITY – With this constellation at our disposal, the system will be able to connect all CLS’ Vessel Monitoring System transmitters providing more people with access to near real-time data in even the most remote areas at sea.
- MORE ACCURATE DATA – More satellites mean more precise data, with 25 nanosatellites joining the 9 satellites currently part of the constellation increased revisits are guaranteed every 15 minutes.
- LOW-CONSUMPTION TRANSMITTERS – Enabling long battery life for NEMO transmitters.
