New THEMIS: Fisheries Intelligence from the World’s No1 FMC Provider

As part of our strategy for continuous improvement, we are releasing a new version of our THEMIS fisheries monitoring software. We’ve made it even more robust and user-friendly and added an electronic logbook (e-logbook)-catch analytics module. Now all the information you need is visible on one map.

In March 2019, we began rolling out the new THEMIS for our existing customers. This version gives you an automated system to manage the flows of e-logbooks transmitted by fishing vessels. It receives reports, displays relevant data, and exports catch statistics to support decision-making. It can also receive e-logbooks from third-party coastal states, as part of a Fisheries Partnership Agreement (FPA). THEMIS can also be adapted for a local ERS for a flag-state country, in compliance with the requirements of Regional Fisheries Management Organizations (RFMO).
