Port\u00e9 par CLS en collaboration avec l\u2019IFREMER et labellis\u00e9 par le P\u00f4le Mer Bretagne Atlantique en 2022, ce dispositif r\u00e9volutionnaire repose sur des technologies spatiales IoT et des capteurs scientifiques avanc\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Son objectif ? R\u00e9duire la pollution marine, am\u00e9liorer la gestion des ressources halieutiques et renforcer la science collaborative gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la collecte et au partage de donn\u00e9es oc\u00e9anographiques en temps r\u00e9el.<\/p>\n<h2>Un projet s\u2019appuyant sur des travaux pionniers<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ce projet s\u2019inscrit dans la continuit\u00e9 de deux initiatives pr\u00e9curseurs :<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Le projet E-GEAR \u00ab\u00a0Engins de p\u00eache connect\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb, labellis\u00e9 par le P\u00f4le Mer M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e en 2020, qui a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 la faisabilit\u00e9 du suivi satellite des engins de p\u00eache et mis en lumi\u00e8re un besoin cl\u00e9 : la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9sister \u00e0 des immersions prolong\u00e9es.<\/li>\n<li>Le programme RECOPESCA, men\u00e9 par l\u2019IFREMER pendant pr\u00e8s de 10 ans, qui a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 le potentiel des engins de p\u00eache comme v\u00e9hicules d\u2019acquisition de donn\u00e9es oc\u00e9anographiques. Des capteurs embarqu\u00e9s sur des engins de p\u00eache c\u00f4tiers de p\u00eacheurs volontaires ont permis de collecter des mesures in situ de temp\u00e9rature, salinit\u00e9 et pression, contribuant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer les mod\u00e8les de pr\u00e9vision c\u00f4ti\u00e8re.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les informations collect\u00e9es ne sont pas uniquement destin\u00e9es aux chercheurs : elles offrent \u00e9galement aux p\u00eacheurs une vision pr\u00e9cise et locale des conditions oc\u00e9aniques, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 l\u2019hame\u00e7on touche l\u2019eau et o\u00f9 le filet se d\u00e9ploie. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces donn\u00e9es, les p\u00eacheurs peuvent anticiper les zones les plus favorables pour capturer du poisson, optimisant ainsi leur effort de p\u00eache tout en minimisant leur empreinte \u00e9cologique.
